Q: Who are Squared Up Refunds?A: Squared Up Refunds are refund consultants based here in New Zealand. We are a husband and wife team, Roy and Jane Cook. Our company is Rojasajo Ltd (named after the first two letters of ours and our children’s names).
Q: What do Squared Up refunds do?A: We search the multitude of records within New Zealand and find lost and unclaimed money and then work to prove ownership and ultimately return the funds to their rightful owner.While researching, we use only publicly available resources to track the owners. This is all done legitimately and ethically.
Q: How much do Squared Up Refunds charge and how do you get paid?A: For our service we charge a fee of 20% of the amount recovered. Nothing is charged upfront. Our fees are only paid at the end after successfully retrieving your money. We receive the funds into a Trust Account and deduct our 20% before settling the balance to your nominated bank account. We are keen to reunite unrecovered funds with their rightful owners and often go out of our way to ensure our clients are reunited with their money.
Q: What if we sign the IR597 and T&Cs and our funds are never recovered?A: If the funds are not recovered, there is no fee payable. Essentially, therefore you have nothing to lose!
Q: What if I do nothing with this unclaimed money?A: If you choose to take no action, the funds will remain unclaimed. Money is only available to be claimed for a maximum of 25 years. The funds are then withdrawn and absorbed by the government. No more claims can be made after this time frame.Please note that some of this money has already been sitting there for many years.
