How does this all work?
Researching unclaimed or lost funds is the core of our business, and we recover them on behalf of the rightful owner. In the course of conducting research for present clients, we come across additional unallocated funds. We believe you are the most likely owner of these monies if we have already made contact with you.
WHAT IS UNCLAIMED MONEY?
Unclaimed money is money that is kept by a person or institution, like a bank or a lawyer, but whose owner (or someone authorised to act on the owner's behalf) cannot be located.
Usually, unclaimed money is given to the government when a predetermined amount of time has passed. The designated owner or beneficiary must submit a claim in order to claim the funds or assets; if the funds or assets belong to an estate, the claimant may need to provide proof of their ownership interest.
Examples of unclaimed monies can be forgotten bank accounts, superannuation funds and insurance policies, unpresented cheques, deposits and bonds, share dividends, and more.
We must make sure we are speaking with the correct person and have confirmed your identity and ownership as part of our due diligence. You can, of course, attempt to search for this money yourself, but we are unable to disclose the information we have obtained, due to restrictions under the Privacy Act 2020.

Terms and Conditions
1. Squared Up Refunds may not disclose the source of the funds without your signed authority.
2. The processing fees are to be paid from the client’s refund. Every effort is made by Squared Up Refunds to ensure the refunds are settled within 16 weeks of receipt of all correct documentation required. Squared Up Refunds and its employees are not responsible for any delays in the processing of claims and accept no responsibility for any claim, loss, or liability arising from any such delays. The client accepts they are responsible for providing correct information and that incorrect information may cause delays in receiving their unclaimed money.
3. Squared Up Refunds’ fee is 20% of all monies received, payable upon recovery of funds. The 20% is deducted from the settlement of the unclaimed money before payment into the client’s nominated bank account.
4. Squared Up Refunds accepts no responsibility for the accuracy, currency, or completeness of any information provided via any correspondence and or communications. The accuracy or reliability of information is not guaranteed or warranted in any way and Squared Up Refunds, its agencies, representatives, subsidiaries, or affiliates, disclaim liability of any kind whatsoever including and without limitation liability for accuracy, quality, performance, or reliability for a particular purpose arising out of the information provided.
5. Acceptance of our service is automatic acceptance of all Squared Up Refunds’ Terms and Conditions.
We can only proceed with the recovery of unclaimed money once we have signed confirmation from you agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
